How our Springfield screen printing works

Each color in your design is burned onto its own fine mesh screen, then ink is pulled through the screens one color at a time, layer by layer, directly onto the garment. It's part craft, part chemistry — and after nearly two decades of it in the same Springfield print shop, we've got the recipe down.

Send us your artwork in whatever shape it's in. Our artists will separate the colors, recommend the right garments for your budget, and send you a proof to approve before anything touches the press. Then we print, cure, count, and fold — and your gear is ready on the delivery date set when you ordered, looking sharp.

The garment matters as much as the print. A ringspun cotton tee feels soft and takes ink beautifully, a 50/50 blend holds its shape through a hard season of practices, and performance poly keeps a team cool but asks for a low-bleed ink so the dye in the fabric doesn't muddy your colors. Hoodies, crewnecks, long sleeves, tanks, and tote bags all run through the same press. Tell us how the gear will be worn and we'll price out two or three blanks so you can see the trade-offs before you decide.

Screen printing does carry a minimum order — every color in your design needs its own screen burned before the first shirt comes off the press, so a very small run isn't a fair deal for you. We confirm the exact number with your quote, since it moves with your piece count and how many colors you're printing. Need fewer than that? Say so. DTF printing has no minimum at all and handles small batches and detailed artwork, and if people would rather order their own sizes all season, we can set up a free online store where each item prints as it's ordered.

Springfield screen printing has been the heart of this shop since Dave and Stephanie opened it in 2008, and most weeks the press is running something for a neighbor — field day shirts for a local school, tournament tees for a ball club, VBS shirts for a church, staff shirts for a small business across town. We print for the surrounding towns too, from Nixa and Ozark to Republic and Willard, and the work never leaves our building.
