DTF Printing

Full color. Full detail. No minimums.

DTF — direct-to-film — printing is what we reach for when a design has more colors than a screen print can handle affordably, or when you just don't need very many shirts. Photographs, gradients, fine detail, tiny text: DTF captures all of it, on nearly any fabric, starting at a quantity of exactly one.

  • Small runs & one-offs
  • Photo & full-color designs
  • Complex, detailed artwork
  • Mixed garment types

Why it works

What you get with our dtf printing

Every color, one price

DTF prints your whole design at once — a ten-color illustration costs the same to produce as a one-color logo. Go ahead, use the whole palette.

No minimums, really

One shirt for a birthday, five for a bachelorette, thirty for a reunion. Order exactly what you need and nothing you don't.

Sharp, soft, flexible

Modern DTF transfers are thin, stretchy, and washfast — crisp detail without the heavy plasticky feel of old-school transfers.

Almost any garment

Cotton, polyester, blends, light or dark fabric — DTF plays nice with nearly everything, so mixed orders are easy.

Behind the craft

How our DTF printing works

Your design is printed in full color onto a special film, backed with a fine adhesive powder, then heat-pressed into the garment. The result is a bright, detailed print with clean edges — no screens to burn, no color separations, no setup fees stacking up.

That's what makes it perfect for small batches and complicated artwork. It's also our answer when someone walks in needing a handful of shirts for a specific date — we'll set your delivery date at the time of purchase, so you know exactly when they'll be in your hands.

FAQ

DTF Printing questions

Straight answers before you order — and a real person on the phone if you'd rather just ask.

What is DTF printing?

DTF stands for direct-to-film. Your design is printed in full color onto a transfer film and then heat-pressed into the fabric. It handles unlimited colors, fine detail, and photographic images — with no minimum order quantity.

Can I really order just one custom shirt?

Yes — one shirt, one hoodie, one anything. DTF has no setup screens, so single items are affordable. It's a favorite for gifts, birthdays, memorials, and try-before-you-commit samples of a bigger design.

How durable are DTF prints?

Very. Washed inside-out in cold water, a quality DTF print stays bright and crack-free for years. We use films and powders we've tested ourselves — if it wouldn't hold up on our own shirts, we don't sell it.

When is DTF better than screen printing?

Choose DTF for small quantities, photo-real or many-color designs, and mixed fabric types. Choose screen printing for bigger runs of simpler designs, where per-shirt cost drops fast. We'll always point you to the method that gets you the best result for your budget.
